Eloise Nicoll was born in New Jersey, where she spent her formative years surrounded by visual and performing arts. Her journey with ceramics began as a young child building . She continued her interest in clay during her high school summers and went on to study ceramics during her time at Skidmore College, where she obtained a BS in Design and Textile Management.

After taking a hiatus from ceramics to work in fashion, she returned to her practice, spending time refining her craft through hands-on experience at Greenwich House Pottery. Eloise creates modern ceramic objects that explore texture and organic forms. Through wheel-throwing and surface experimentation, each object is handmade in small batches, embracing subtle irregularities as part of the process. Each piece is designed to feel tactile, collected and quietly expressive within the home.
